My civvie needs to gain weight

My Trouble is a 16 year old CRF cat (I know this is a diabetes forum and my diabetic cat Scamp is OTJ- yea!!!!) and he had an infection in his mouth which actually stopped him eating and he has lost 2 and a half pounds since February. I managed to get him eating again and he is doing way better.

But I would like some suggestions for a low phosphorus kitten food (if there is such a thing) because he needs to put some pounds on!!! (I wish I had that problem!!!) I have asked at the CRF forum but I thought, since there are so many knowledgeable people here, I might try here also.

I appreciate any and all advice given
