My cat threw up should I feed again and give shot?

Good morning. I tested Sassy at 7:00 am -183. Feed her 1 can FF and she threw up alot of it. Should I still give her 1 unit at her scheduled 8:00 am time with a 1/2 can? Not sure how to handle.

I’d feed again and shoot but with Lantus you have about 1-2 before it hits so sometimes when Minnie wouldn’t eat I’d give her the antinausea and the insulin because I knew that in 30 minutes she’d eat for me. Is she a good eater?
 
I fed again half a can of fancy feast and gave her a shot one unit at 9 AM rather than at her usual 8 AM. Wanted to give little time.
Yes, she always has been and still is a good eater.
I will put help in subject line. Thank you. I copied and pasted into the Lantus forum as previously advised.

Fed her three tablespoons of blanched chicken breast meat which I blended with a little water 10:45. She’s also been experiencing diarrhea for the past three days.

That’s good because if you know she’ll eat then you can always give the shot. Lantus is great that way and I feel safe even if it takes an hour from shot time to get Minnie to eat.

urghhhhh diarrhea is no fun. Are you giving her any probiotics? S Boulardii is great for keeping their stool in check but it does take a week or 2 to start to work. Does she have any other health issues that can cause it? Minnie was taking Metronidazole for her diarrhea. It’s a mild antibiotic that helps clear it out but you do need a prescription for it. Any changes in food lately?
 
That’s a good sign. There are different degrees of diarrhea for sure. Is she going #2 a lot or it’s the regular once a day but liquid when she does? Mind you, I feel Minnie has had every degree in the spectrum lol

There were a few brands recommended to me here and I ended up going with this one:

I give her about 1/4 capsule a day. It seems to be the amount that does the trick but you could try 1/8 twice a day too.
