My cat threw up before giving shot. Should I feed again and give shot?

Good morning. I tested Sassy at 7:00 am got 183. Feed her 1 can FF and she threw up alot of it. Should I still give her 1 unit at her scheduled 8:00 am time with a 1/2 can? Not sure how to handle.
NOTE: I gave 1 unit at 9:00 with 1/2 can.
Thank you.
I posted on Feline health. Should I post all questions related to her BG here?

Sorry nobody replied yet. Did the food stay down? Does Sassy have any other health issues?
Here’s your post from yesterday. We link them so those unfamiliar with your cat can get a quick history.

Along the same line some housekeeping. When you post on this board please write the date followed by your cat’s name, then AMPS ##. So it would read:
6/20 Sassy AMPS## cat threw up before shot should I shoot?
You can also use the ? Prefix.
I’m glad you are posting on this board. You can post health questions here or on health but we ask one condo a day on this board. So just change the subject as needed.

Yes, 1/2 can stayed down. I just feed 2 tablespoons blanched chicken blended at 10:45. Ate at a normal pace:).
Sassy has no other health issues. Two days ago began experiencing diarrhea. Was just researching S boulardii. Any thoughts?
Making sure she drinks and watching for urinating.
Yes, I will post as you suggested. Thank you.

Do you have any thoughts on Sassy's numbers thus far? I know it's not a lot of numbers to assess, but given that she has been on Lantus 1 unit for three months, I was wondering.
I feel she still a little too skinny, loss of muscle tone but I was thinking I wasn't giving her enough carbs back in March.

Also, I going to do purchase Ketone test and will post results.

Have you read the yellow sticky on the two dosing methods used here? I think an increase to 1.25 would be called for if you decide in TR. with SLGS you need to do a 12 hour curve every 7 days and adjust from there. With TR you adjust every 6-10 cycles roughly. I’m giving the cliff note version so read the sticky and decide. Then we can better advise you. And welcome to the board. Post daily and we can help you.

Yes, I have and I am trying to think of which would be best. I am going to test as much as possible and see which approach to go with.
I am also wondering if I do a +3 and +6 and +9, how close in time should I feed to testing? I am always thinking I should test before feeding. I am trying to give her feeding every four hours with a little food.

Feed normally. Just pick up all food two hours before insulin for now so the preshot test isn’t food influenced and you know it’s safe to inject.
