My cat has early kidney disease, best food?

So my cat has early kidney disease along with his diabetes. Any of you know any cheap over the counter cat food that's good for diabetes and renal health? We have him on FF chicken classic mixed with fish oil which helps his arthritis as well.

A lot of people, myself included, use diabetic friendly food and add a phosphorus binder when required. This will give you a guide as to whether it is time for a phosphorus binder and how/when to go about it. http://www.felinecrf.org/phosphorus.htm

Adding some water to the FF will help the kidneys as well.

Fancy Feast is a little higher in phosphorus than we like to see kidney cats eating. The higher the phosphorus the more rapid the kidneys decline. You need to experiment with this food list and find the food with the least phosphorus that your cat will eat. If nothing else you can add phosphorus binder. http://felinecrf.org/canned_food_usa.htm
