Okay I said I wanted her to become at least predictable...well if yesterday and so far this morning is any indication on how Lev is going to work for her I have definitely achieved predictable...

Yesterday's amps 280. +3 ~307

Today's amps 281, +3~308

And as requested her latest picture:

Re: Musette 2/26

What looks good to me is that you are getting stable, if flat, numbers. Lev works well when allowed to "flatten" like that (so no swings and bounces) and then raised slowly to bring the whole curve down. So give if several more days to settle before making any changes.

Hey, I noticed on her SS that when she was transported she went back in time the 2006. Was that while she was in the air?

Re: Musette 2/26

LOL I never noticed that...  God that day it certainly seemed like it, especially trying to out race the Thunderstorm home.

Yeah I'm planning on holding her right where she is at for at least a week, probably run a curve on her wednesday just to have a recent curve to show the vet on Thursday with her starting on the Lev as oppose to those wild swings on Lantus. I'm pretty sure if this keeps up the way it is going, I'm going to ask that her next script be written for Levemir pens rather than her current Lantus. I've been trying for 7 months to achieve the gentle flat curves she is already getting with the Lev, if or when I need to start adjusting her dose I'm planning on doing it no more than .25u at a time and then fine tuning it a drop at a time.

Right now she is looking fantastic just 2 days in...got a 202 just now for a +6 :-D
