To all that have reached out to me:
I wanted to express my sincere apologies for "coming unglued" over the last week or so. I realize that I was definitely starting to reach a boiling point, but please know, that it was not a sensitivity towards any of you, I was taking things all the wrong way b/c of Murphy. She's been a sick little girl for so long, and I started to get very scared again. It was very apparent that I was experiencing a great deal of stress due to something both my vet and I could not figure out with her numbers dropping into the 60s. Come to find out, it was the deficiency of Thiamine in the Wellness food and it took several days to get her back on track. And, I threw away a perfectly good vial of Lantus on Wednesday of last week. As I researched on Thiamine, I came to learn that it does affect the BG levels, and also GI tract. In fact, when I called Wellness, I specifically asked if the kitty reported was a diabetic, and they affirmed it.
Anyways, I have to update Murphy's SS, but please, all, accept my sincerity when I say, that last week I had exceeded my threshold and it had absolutely nothing to do with any of you and I was out of line. I'm still learning, and I'm still learning to deal with all the little things that come Murphy's way. So many different things, feline asthma, pancreatitis, diabetes, MRSA, demodex. I've had feelings of pre-grief so often.
Most of all, I am so sorry to hear about Witty. Rainbow Ridge has to be a wonderful place, where there is a total healing and well-being is restored. All things are made anew and they are all blessed with good health. The sun will shine every day and Ms. Witty will get that little kiss of sun every day.
