Hi All. Murphy appears to be coming along, and I have been checking her BG a few times since I came home from the hospital. (100 BG or so). She has gained 4 oz. since last Friday when I came home. My guess -- the pet sitter was taking up her food b/c Murphy didn't have an appetite, possibly from pining b/c mommy was gone for so long. She's coming along well, although you could certainly see that she had been very traumatized by me being gone. I can't imagine how she felt -- Oscie's food is always on the counter, and she barely had anything to eat the entire 8 weeks. I kept looking at him thinking to myself -- why does he look so good, and almost as if he's gained weight, well, I believe this is what happened. I've purchased a Feliway to calm Murphy and she seems to be doing well. She's out from under the bed and roaming around and sleeping with mommy now.
