was 163 for amps this morning - I stalled for 45 minutes and it was 169. He was starting to hiss and I needed to feed him - I want to give him something today because I know what will happen otherwise
after he eats I am going to give him 1 unit (I did this on 11/21 according to the spread sheet, although I don't remember that day :() any thoughts I didn't test him at bedtime last night as I am trying to cut down on testing - he is getting more agitated with testing - growling and swatting, hissing (even biting) on occasion and he was getting that way last night

Wow Murphy! Carol, I say go for it (if you'll be around to monitor?). As long as you can keep an eye on things and I know you can steer him with food if needed...your current number is close enough to the 174 your sliding scale starts at I think.

I'm heading to work in a bit, but I'll check in when I can and I'm sure Sue and the others will be around some today if you need something as well. :)

Nice amps, Carol, and glad you went for a shot. About the testing - this sounds pretty simplistic, but I wonder if you would find a new exciting treat that he loves and start giving that after the poke? Not sure what you give now; Bonito flakes and PureBites are popular at my house, and I know other kitties go crazy for cooked, cubed chicken breast...

Hi Sue - I try pure bites but he's not so keen on that or bonita - I decided to try small amounts of his canned food, venison.
