Well, Murphy's numbers are really starting to look better, leveling out, and we've went down to one unit twice per day of Lantus, which I am thrilled about. It does appear that yes, she is starting to produce her own insulin, which I am excited about, although it could be a honeymoon period gradually happening, so I have to be very aware of what's going on. So far, she's been basically out of the 90s, and definitely not in the 60s any longer, but we do equate that to the Wellness recall.
She doesn't appear to be feeling well today, even yesterday. I suppose I'm still not used to seeing the quirky feelings, she seems like she just doesn't feel well. She didn't really want to eat tonight, and it took her about 45 minutes, and there's still a little left in her dish. Maybe she's been having an upset tummy. Could be some pancreatitis, she threw up a little teeny bit this a.m. before she ate. Which hasn't happened for a few months. Her pancreas looked terrific on the ultrasound BTW, so we've crossed that bridge hopefully.
Anyways, thank you all for the welcome back. I know you all care -- and I do too. I have to share this photographs b/c she was how terribly ill she was in August, MRSI, d. cati mite, pancreatitis, it breaks my heart to see this photographs, but she's so come around, I can hardly believe it.
