Hi all,
I feel bad this is 4 months later, but life has been so busy
Mr Kitty passed 10/19/24, peacefully, after a "short" battle with CHF.
The vet found a heart murmur earlier in the year, but we did not pursue further testing/imaging because Mr Kitty did not tolerate anesthesia well (we lost him once that way but was revived).
He took a fairly sudden turn in early October. He had fluid buildup around his lungs and abdomen, which they were able to drain and buy us some time. The vet also think he may have had a stroke at some point. He spent his last days wandering the neighborhood with us in the sunshine, going on adventures in the woods and being a ferocious little arthritic panther stalking his prey....at 0.00005 miles per hour haha
We miss him dearly, but I am glad we were able to euthanize him before he was really suffering.

Wendy - if you are still maintaining the acro tracker, I can update it. Official cause of death was CHF, he was off cabergoline completely for 2 years and never relapsed. 3.5 years-ish after initial acro dx. We never did get a good handle on this thyroid.
