Hi
I'm fostering a newly diabetic cat. A freind adopted him from our local HS and took him to the required vet appt. He was dx with diabetes. She was unable to care for him and looked for a rescue but they were full. She called the HS and was told he would be PTS. Mr. Biggs says "I'm not tired". Anyway, I offered to take him and network him. I have found some wonderful people locally that have helped. In the last two weeks his BG has gone from 600+ to consistently under 200. He is off dry food. Receives just 1/4 unit Lantus twice a day and has loss about 14oz. He started on 1.5 units. I can't keep him due to allergies. I am looking for help with vet cost, supply costs and general info, additional networking hoping for a forever home. . My first question is about idea I have to feeeze portion of food to leave out when I go to work. This will help to spread out his food a little more. Just wondering what you think.

Ps. Mr. Big. Stuff has a facebook page. Look him up and like/share him!
