My thoughts...if you feel you will have time to do the normal testing on moving day then I would continue with the regular pattern. Since stress can cause levels to be higher it would be good if you could continue with the regular routine so that the glucose levels don't get too high. If this is not possible, then as long as your kitty is not prone to DKA (diabetic ketoacidosis) then skipping a shot or doing an 18 hour shot might work for you. Hopefully others will weigh in with their thoughts.

I agree with Mary Ann. If you're going to be able to test during the cycle, then I'd go ahead and give insulin as usual. But if you're not going to be able to test, then it would be safer to skip - most cats go higher from stress, but there are a few that don't run higher or might even go lower.

You also may want to check with your vet to see if they can prescribe something to keep her calm, especially if you feel it will be too stressful for her. Or try Rescue Remedy.

Im moved, she isnt really eating her wet food now, just nibbles,I skipped last nights shot, she didnt eat this am again,so I gave her small amounnt of dry food and gave her half her insulin, she seems ok,normal acting and all just not eating her wet food, any ideas?
