So today’s numbers ain’t so good, all joking aside.
We got a real wonky mid-day number and overnight wasn’t so hot either.

Last night we shot 2.8 units.
Overnight + 4 220
+6 231
+9 271
amps this morning was 280, shot 2.8 again
+7.5 today 313

Yeah, 313. I couldn’t believe it either. We had a client here today so couldn’t get a test in until +7.5, but we were here with Asher all day watching him and he acted normal, ate normal, snoozed normal, etc. I know there was no fur shot because I always feel around on his fur to see if I feel any wetness.

So, did he go low this morning and then bounce? Does he really need a lot more insulin? Does he need less insulin? I don’t get it. And I feel helpless that I can do nothing now (2pm) until 6 pm to get these numbers down.

Any suggestions for tonight’s dose ??

Edit:
We shot 2.8 again tonight. I guess we’ll have to reassess in the morning. If he is high again (in the 300’s) do we reduce or increase?

oh how frustrating!!! (but he looks like the king of the world! And like such a love, too. I always want to kiss him). Let's see what the others say. My inclination would be to stick to 2.8 for a few cycles unless he really goes high.

Well I thought it might be shaping up to an inverse curve, but it isn't that if the next PS didn't come back down. So hmmm, I dunno really. Sorry. Maybe stick with this dose a little longer? Maybe someone else will have more insight into the #s than I do. Could be he's already overcome 2.8 and is "over it" :roll: but I don't feel clear on it at the moment.

Ok, we’ll hang at the 2.8 for another day or so and see what happens.

Like Judy said, I just want to squeeze and kiss Asher cause he's so darn cute! Paws crossed for good #'s.
