Mooch is still being picky with wet food. I started him on Hills AD which is usually kitty crack in a can and he's eating some but not particularly enthusiastic. I added some FortiFlora to it today and sprinkled a few EVO kibbles on top so hopefully that will help. I also gave him a small amount of kibble in case he doesn't eat much of the canned food today.

Hey Mooch, a kitty's gotta eat to stay strong. My favorite food is Fancy Feast Turkey & Giblets. Maybe you'd like it, too.

Thanks Ella & Rusty. Mooch did try (and reject) some of the fancy feasts. I got some Whiskas today to see if they will fare any better. My other cats are loving it as they are getting all the tasty cast offs! Poor Mooch is hungry as he didn't eat much of the AD today. I'll try the Whiskas and if he doesn't eat anything before I go to bed I'll crack open the kibble again. I may also try "catfood soup" as one of my previous fussy cats used to like that and he did like broth
 
Mooch seems to like the Whiskas Savory Pate Turkey & Giblets, or at least the nice jelly/gravy it was coated in. I hope he eats more of the actual cat food in the next couple of hours. I'll see how much he's eating and provide a little EVO dry kibble as a top up if needed before I go to bed. His blood glucose was nice and low so the 0.33 unit Lantus seems to be balancing the mix of wet/dry food at the moment.
