Re: Moo, 4/5, PMPS 215, +3=60

Yes, you do. You may want to get another test in an hour (or 1/2 hour if you'd like) to make sure that Moo isn't dropping much more. Keep up the excellent work!

Re: Moo, 4/5, PMPS 215, +3=60

Yup seeing that 60 was a little startling...
I plan on getting the 3.5 test in in about 10 minutes.

Just had my vet get me another vial of Lantus too cause I thought mine was going toasty... Guess I might not have to open it just yet huh?

It sure does look like your Lantus is working! I'd re-test in no more than an hour just to make sure Moo doesn't decide to head back down.

I thought about the testing in an hour thing, too, but also saw that you had 1/2 markings on your SS for a small duration. Hence the suggestion of 1/2 testing. Glad that Moo isn't heading downwards. I'm also glad that the Lantus is working. I think Moo's working that Lantus to its fullest!

I'll still get the Lantus from the vet tomorrow... I just won't open it until I am sure that I need to so not to waste any of that valuable time! :)

Will be checking again in 10 min at Moo's +4 to make sure he's still heading up.
Was bout to finally head to dinner after working 2 jobs today when I got that 60, so if he's still going up... I think Imay just put out a lil LC to be safeand head to dinner and the movie I was g oing to see.

Sorry bout the typos my spacebar is being ridiculous.

The LC should help to bring him up if he's dropping or keep him stable, but it still may raise him. Depending on the food that you are feeding him, he may be rising from that alone.
