Just feeling like I'm being too conservative-he's been in high numbers since he was diagnosed in Aug & I'm starting to worry b/c he's been in the high numbers for so long.
I think it should be OK as long as I come home on lunch to check on him (maybe I can talk the boss into letting me work from home in the afternoon)...
I think I'm overly cautious b/c the first time I gave Mittens insulin he hypoed on me (vet prescribed 3u). But I do not want him to go into DKA & he's been in the higher numbers for long enough, so I think it's time to bite the bullet & be a little more aggressive w/the dosing.
When all this started I figured it would be a piece of cake since I'm an RN...oh how wrong I was :lol:
