Hi, I'd like to hear your opinions on his glucose results. I changed his food few days ago to Sheba fine flakes in jelly, and even tho it's higher in carbs than the previous wet food I gave him, Catessy and applaws it's giving me better results somehow.
Usually he gets small meals throughout the night 4 times, last time being at 8:30 and then I give insulin and food at 10am.
Yesterday I wanted to know what his glucose is 2 hours before first insulin dose next day so he got fed at 4:30am and 7:30am only(today).
Then when I took his glucose at 10am it was 16mmol, I gave him 1 unit of insulin and 3 hours later it was 4mmol, is it a big drop? His high glucose in the morning probably was due to a bounce. How could I prevent that from happening?
He is on lantus insulin.
