MISSY + Simone&MICIO (GA)

Member Since 2021
Exactly 15 years ago, the cutest tiny furball was presented to me by a vet and literally jumped into my arms and since she has been a very important part of my life with a unique character, plenty of attitude and unconditional love. Despite her health issues that started at a very young age, Missy maintained her personality as the Princess of the house...."You may look at me, just don't touch me!"
Prissy Missy, that was it!
When Micio came along, less then a year after Missy, the real journey began and, although she always played precious and bossy with him too, only when he passed in January 2023 we realized how much she loved him...ever since, she secluded herself in the bedroom 24/7 refusing to hang around in all of the places she loved the most along with Micio. Quickly developed diabetes, tested positive for Acromegaly and most likely a sort of tumor have grown on her sinus, along with many other health issies that made her life pretty miserable.
Finally, I had to make the hardest call, once again...we helped Missy crossing the rainbow bridge last Thursday, 21 December in the most comfortable way possible.
My beautiful Missy is gone too now and I really hope that she's with all of my fur babies.
The pain is unreal and impossible to describe but I'm sure that most of you had experience it before, in a way or another...
I spent the last 15+ years, 24/7 dedicating body and soul to these 2 kiddos, sacrificing family, friends and my own self and can't even begin to think where to start without them...
But, if I could, I would start all over again, no doubt.

A big THANK YOU to all of you that promptly helped me and Missy when in need. A special thanks to @Diane Tyler's Mom, @Suzanne & Darcy, @tiffmaxee, @Wendy&Neko, @Bron and Sheba (GA), @Bandit's Mom and many others that helped me through this journey.

Please hug your babies as much as you can, every day and every moment you can just like if it was the last one...you won't regret it, I promise you that.

'Till we meet again..."

Missy was absolutely beautiful. She's has every right to carry the title Princess and Prissy Missy.

I am very sorry for your loss, both of Missy and Micio. No amount of words will ease your pain. It is truly indescribable.

Thank you for being a dedicated cat owner with unwavering love for them. They were just as lucky to have you, as you them.

What beautiful kitties. I'm so sorry for your loss. Missy and Micio were so lucky to have each other and such a great kitty parent. As well, you to have them. Together in kitty heaven surrounding you with kitty wings.

Oh, Simone, my friend. I am really sad to read that Missy is no longer with you in this world. She is with her (and your) beloved Micio now. She was truly gorgeous I love the photo of Missy with Micio! On this Board, we get to meet some of the most amazing, wonderful people who are so devoted to caring for their cats in the best possible way— you are one of the tops in my book!

((((Simone)))) This has been such a hard year for you, with two kitties with multiple conditions.:bighug::bighug::bighug: I know you did all you could, and I believe Missy (and Micio) knew that too.

Take care of yourself now, this will be hard for you.

Like Suzanne, I really like the pic of the two kitties together.

I’m so sad and sorry for your loss. Missy was such a gorgeous girl. I’m also so sorry for your recent loss of Micio. Your beautiful kitties were so lucky to have such a devoted, loving and caring Mom.
It’s so heartbreaking to lose them. I understand that pain. :(
Sending you caring and healing thoughts and love. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Simone I'm so very sorry to hear about Missy.I do remember when Micio had passed. You have had a rough year ♥ You were the best mom they could ever have wished for. They knew they were so loved.
What beautiful pictures of the both of them. Such gorgeous kitty's.
Please take care of yourself.
Fly high sweet Missy , I know she's with Micio and the rest of your furbabies :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:♥♥

@Suzanne & Darcy, @Wendy&Neko, @Diane Tyler's Mom this is the original picture in colors...I called it "Il bacio di Giuda" ("The kiss of Judas") cause Missy would go laying down next to Micio, lovingly start licking/kissing him and all of a sudden open her mouth big and "gently" bite his cheek or/and smack him, just like that, out of nowhere...probably for attention or just being Missy! Of course I would supervise that and let her know when it would be too much but most of the times it was funny watching the two of them together...what a character.

Maybe her name should have been Delilah!

What a beautiful kitty! And what a spicy personality.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Along with Micio, she will always have a special place in your heart and will never be truly gone. Fly free and land softly, little one. There are many of our kitties at the Bridge to keep you company until you are reunited with one ones you love best.
