Expected this due to the quick drop she made last night. Went with (what looks like) 0.3U. We'll see how that works out.

Food has been the same. Activity has been the same... maybe a little more because she was playing with the dog a lot more today.

So my question is... what is going on now? Is 0.3U the magical dose that gives her super duration?

Wow, nice ride she's getting off that. Harley did that about 2 weeks ago, maybe she's getting used to those green #'s.

She keeps going down.

At +14.5 she was at 134. She ate a pretty decent sized meal (6% carb and a little pumpkin). Now at +16 she's at 115. I've even been double checking the readings because the numbers are so unusual for her. I'm not planning on giving her a shot tonight. I just hope we don't have sky-high numbers in the morning.

I agree, don't shoot. I don't think you'll get really high numbers tomorrow.

I would, she's still dropping. You don't know how far she'll drop yet.

Wow. That didn't even occur to me since she's 16 hours out from the last insulin shot

You want to get 2 to 3 rising #'s to know if it is safe to go to sleep.

I understand. I'm just shocked that it is lasting this long. Previously she's only made it to +15, but that time she was rising slowly. I'm surprised she's still dropping now

I think her pancreas is helping out here and that is why you are seeing the long duration.

She's not in danger. 101 is not a hypo number. It's that she's still dropping. You just want to make sure she's coming back up.

NICE!!!!!!!!! Looks like a sputtering pancreas to me! I wouldn't be too worried about her dropping at this point - the insulin has probably worn off for the most part, looks like she's trying to fly solo, yippee!!!
