is she due for an increase? Only because her numbers were good the night before last. What is her body doing? Is she bouncing? I have a digital caliper so I know I give her the exact dose. She seems to be good at one dose, goes for a shark swim, earns a reducie then comes back up long enough for her to need another increase.

Has anyone ever seen a cat actually get HYPO?

Since I’ve been on the board I have read if cats having symptomatic hypos and rushed to the ER but they are few and far between. You monitor closely so I can’t see that happening to Mimi. I think if you don’t see green tonight I would increase.

I was just reading an old post (possibly my first one) and how idiotic I was. Thinking it was ok to shoot an hour earlier, listening to the vet say "cats don't need to be tested, just have a curve done once a week", me leaving the house because my friends visiting from out of town were telling me I was acting nuts wanting to skip dinner for my "cat" when her BG was 50 on an ALPHATRAK! I went out to dinner that night and didnt shoot her. I also thought feeding several meals throughout the day was impossible and thought "no way I can do that"

Now here I am today, I own about 5 auto feeders (4- 2 slot ones, and 1 4 slot one)
Ill skip a funeral if I had to just to make sure Mimi was in safe numbers.
I will stay up all night just to make sure she doesn't go hypo if she starts dropping.

I can't believe the person I was and the person I have become..

Sounds familiar. My very first post here began with: don’t shoot me because I don’t plan on testing. I became a testaholic but it took several weeks for that. I would stay home in the morning until past nadir unless Max was really high and had many pj parties. My friends all thought I was nuts. Still do I think.
