DH and I said good bye to our favorite "little man" yesterday. After bring Milo home, I just laid him in his favorite blanket and loved on him. By this point, he couldn't use his back legs at all and could barely hold up his head. His eyes were not very clear and he couldn't focus on either of us. Instead, he just made quiet sounds of pain. DH and I knew it was his way of trying to say goodbye. I'm glad I at least got a few hours yesterday to be with him and that he could be home instead of at the one place he hated- the vet.
If Milo would have shown just the slighted will to fight, I would have taken him to the ER to try surgery. Unfortunately, he instead seem to tell us he was ready. DH and I will really miss Milo. It is so quite this morning without him meowing good morning and running down stairs for his test and then shot so he can get some food. He was just happy all the time it seemed like and always made DH and I smile. I hope he had found a place where he can play outside all day long and eat all the carbs he wants!! Milo you are gone but never forgotten! We love you little man!
