I mixed a little into her FF food. I figure I mix it in over the week. I know some people switch up their cats food to give them some options. Milahs stomach is a little funny sometimes. I picked up the Weruva play Bff

I will look at those labs later today. I must get out to run some errands. She’s having some nice numbers on this .25 dose. Try to get some nighttime tests.

Her numbers are slightly higher. It’s been a lot these last few days. She bit me good while I was trying to give her meds. I messed up trying to give her sub q fluids . I didn’t drain the line properly she got air under her skin. I told the vet & he says her body will absorb it and it will be okay .
I still feel terrible and am afraid to try again.
They read me her urine analysis on Sunday. I’m waiting for them to email it to me. He said she still has an infection something about her numbers were over 100. I have to get the results so I know what he was reading. But he had me do another round of baytril antibiotics then more testing after.
He said she has mild kidney failure
the nurse told me they can make it a few month to a year. It was so hard to hear.

Be sure to drain out the air bubbles from the line. Sorry this happened. It does happen. Sometimes they sound crackly under the skin. after that happens.
Another scary thing that can happen is when you nick a blood vessel and see blood when you pull out the needle. This happens and is not dangerous, but it’s kind of scary.

Don’t listen to their time estimates. They really don’t know. Some cats can last years with kidney disease that stays stable in the same stage for quite some time. I have had cats live three years with kidney disease. It is very important to feed low phosphorus foods, give her the fluids and give her the other supportive care that she needs as she needs it.Her numbers are slightly higher. That’s good to hear. & I switched to Weruva . BFF play pates she doesn’t like them as much as the fancy feast
