He settles into the kitchen chair and lets me stick him and get a sample. While the meter is running I put pressure on his ear to stop the bleeding if its does not stop, sometimes his ears are like a facet other times like a dry desert.

He looks at me when the meter beeps as if he is saying "OK Dad, whats is showing this time?". I love this boy so much!

AMPS (its really pm for us here) #291, thats better. Yay!

He had a decent dinner just after the shot, so its no doubt going to be a off range reading a bit. Let's hope the PT job Saturday lets me be able to keep the schedule.

Hi Mike. Same here with the ears. When Checks bleeds a lot, it's because I've accidentally stuck the vein.
His right ear doesn't like to bleed, but I don't like to always use the left.
So, Buddy is interested in his numbers, is he? :-D

We tested upon getting home, 289.

My problem is that they are all so used to getting fed once I get home (12:36 AM). Especially Buddy, in order to get a true reading before a shoot (1:30 AM) I need to keep the food spike factor nil. Kind of hard to tell them they all have to wait an hour now so not to make Buddy feel neglected. You have no idea (but then some of you do) what its like to change routine on them and them not on you.

A bit of arise there 321; but then when we got up from the chair he rushed to the kitchen, he wanted dinner! But 1st the sitting session on the chair for a sample and then a shot. For a moment I think the needle kind of "dragged" out because of some tough skin texture, I shoot between the shoulders sometimes but I kind of went to the side with a tent pinch but I am sure the shot went in. It was quick and no problems. :smile:

Ea-gads, 5:30 check then back up at 7:00, I must be insane! :o

Still running those 300's, darn it liver your training has been enough!

A little breakfast for the furs, and we are off to the other job. Whoa, who left the fridge open in Florida!
