hope its appropriate to post this here,
there's a Lantus lady new to fb, worrying whether to change the dose for her 20lb cat,
from 2U, up to 2.25 or 2.5
bg readings are patchy but sit around the 4-500s, which is why it might be an urgent question from the point of view of ketones.

about ketones. i am trying to get ketones. i have a litter box set up with nonabsorbent stuff, he won't pee in there. and will only go in the litter box in private. he's very fussy about that.

Not sure if you have answered this before or not...is he an only child? If he is then you may just have to out wait him..he has to pee sometime.. :lol:

With Musette being that she is one of 13 in the house I will give her a clean box with aquarium gravel, stick her in the bathroom by herself and just out wait her. Luckily now she has gotten so that she will come in the bathroom with me while I'm doing my thing in the morning to do her business and I can catch her that way.
