Mickey...I got a big problem

Ok so evey third week I need a person to give Mickey his insulin shot for 5 day in the am because I am on 6am to 2pm shift..a few weeks ago..my friend.. got scratched pretty bad my Mickey..the wound healed over and she has what feels like a piece of cat litter in her hand,.last week the weather was 26.8 inches of snow and has a little 2 seater sports car and cannot drive her car,, not realizing now SHE is afraid of my cat and doesnt really want to give him shots any longer,,, my second in line had about 6 colonies and a climate controlled shed full of cats besides the 13 in her house is really busy and I cannot burden my problems on her but has helped me on a pinch in the past...I put a call into my vet tech , she hasnt called me back as of yet. She works 6 days a week at the vet office .

Call some of the other vets in your area and see if their vet techs are available. There's got to be someone out there who can help you.

no chance of using the dispatch system to see if anyone else in the emergency network has experience with a diabetic cat? probably goes way against policy though?

Well since PZI is flexible can you move your shoot schedule to the new times every third week and then back again?

And if you move the shot schedule, even do something like an 11/13 schedule if needed (or whatever works and isn't too far off the +12s) rather than straight 12/12 to make it work? Not 100% ideal, but might still be reasonably workable?

I will figure it out. Like today I am working 6a-2p (someone called out sick) and then go back in for my own shift at 10p-6a for the next 4 nights. So I have until next week to get a person to help me.

Update on MR. Mickey 1/4

Well, there is no amps because he was having no parts of Maria getting near him.

She said she was lucky she had her coat on :roll:

So my plan for today is: I will give him shot around 4:30pm and have to work day shift again tomorrow so 4:30am. Then just bump it to 6:30pm when I actually work the night shift tomorrow evening. Two hours is a big jump tho..?

I did play the mega millions today....oops just had a dream $$$$$$ jackpot is 33 million. I could quit my job and not have issues on shots~~ haha_smiley
