Mia's BG was 429 at AMPS, and it is remaining high during the entire cycle. This has not happened with her before. She dropped a little lower than expected last night, so I was not surprised to see her 'in the red' this morning (she is bouncy baby), but to see her staying in the red concerns me. Could some more experienced folks take a look at let me know your thoughts?
I am so tired of being worried about her. We are between vets right now. We have an appointment next Thursday with an internal medicine specialist, unless he gets a cancellation before then. Her vial of insulin is getting pretty low. Since it is our first vial, I do not know how long it will last, but I am scared we will run out. Also, I am noticing some things.. the hair above one of her eyes has thinned out and the skin seems pink/irritated - is she developing an allergy to something she eats or is this insulin or diabetes related? Today, her pupils seem dilated - that is how they look if her BS is too low, but why are they that way now when it is high?
