We gave PurrFace his second dose of Zobaline today...5mg. We're hoping the B-12 will get him off his haunches and back on his feet. He was always an active cat and it bothersome to see him humping along. How long does it usually take to see results of the B-12; if it's going to work?

Thank you to all that respond

I believe it takes at the very least 3 weeks. maybe 4.

My cat wasn't that far along. I didn't even notice a problem until I showed up here and read about it and then realized that was probably
why she wasn't jumping up very often. She could still get up on her tower because she used her front claws and pulled herself up and she
still jumps down all the time.

It had only been a couple of weeks when she started jumping some of time again. And now she's able to do it even more.

I think it definitely works.
I haven't heard anyone say it didn't in their example.

However, I do not know if we will all be using it forever more.
I think I will since "once a diabetic, always a diabetic" .
It's not like some supplements that can do harm. If the body doesn't need it, it just pees out and it's not that expensive.

Thank you for the information. Our cat was walking fine until a week ago Thursday when I noticed his back arched, but he was still not on his haunches. By Friday evening he was on his haunches. Called our vet first thing Monday morning and he took him right in...no waiting. I ordered the Zobaline from LifeLink; it was $26.99 for 60 (3mg) tablets inluding the $7.95 for first class shipping. He can still jump from the floor to the coffee table but it takes all his energy. Thank you again and I wish Shadow well.

Scratchie's got pretty bad and to the point where he couldn't jump. I found out about the MethylB-12 on this site and got some. 5mg per day in his food. Gone in 58 days. It's amazing!

Scratchie'smom. Thank you for your post. It is very incouraging. We're giving PurrFace 5mg a day of Zabaline. Today will be his third day on it. Hopefully in a few weeks we will see some improvement. Thank you again.

It took several weeks, maybe upwards of two months, for it to work for my cat but he did eventually start walking normal again. He has been diabetic for nearly a year and probably on the Zobaline for 10-11 months. At this point, I am superstitious...I can't say for sure that it was or wasn't the Zobaline that helped or it was a combination of good changes but I still give it to him every day!

Just a tip, one time when I ordered it, they accidentally sent me the human Xobaline. I called them and they said it was fine to give him but they would send me the Zobaline for cats. Three days later, he was very ill with BGs out of control. Turns out, I should have read the label VERY closely. One of the ingredients in the human form is glucose. I was seriously giving my poor diabetic cat sugar!!

I've also found that if LifeLink is out of stock, to go to Amazon and buy it there. I've always had success getting it.
