So I was hoping Merry was just going through a bounce after his lows on 12/14 because he is not used to those lows at all but 4 days later he's still in the yellows. Can it take this long to clear a bounce?

And just a cute photo of Merry :) He was napping on the couch with me & when I woke up he was in the middle of the floor sound asleep on his back. He sleeps on his back like this quite often. I think he's happy :)

That is one chill cat! :)

If you don't see any greens tonight, I would increare tomorrow. It's unusual, though not unheard of, for bounces to last more than 6 cycles.

Merry is very relaxed although stirs up trouble when he's with the other kitties.

How can a dose get them down to a nice number once but then not again? It's so confusing, LOL! The same thing happened on 12/11, those were his lowest numbers at that point (& I may have missed a green in between my checks) & then yellow again.

Same thing is happening with Silver - just means you're going in the right direction. I increased him slightly in the middle of an 8 cycle bounce. I am steadily increasing til I see more of the blues and less of the pinks. Hoping for green soon! You're seeing a lot more blue and yellow than the pinks you were seeing. All good.

Insulin is a hormone, not a drug. An increase in insulin doesn't always see a incremental change in blood sugars. Just keep increasing as per the dosing method, until you find the fitting dose. Frustrating? Heck yes! That's where patience pants come in handy.
