Merrick purrfect bistro grain free chicken pate canned cat food.

Anyone object to the ingredients and carbs in this one?

Also is this correct? Copied and pasted off the food list:

"3% - Nature's variety Instinct Grain free Chicken – 302"

Going to buy it if it is true. Ingredients show potatoes.

I feed the Merrick limited ingredient. My three all think the chicken is the bomb after many upward turns of the nose to other foods.

Hey Stephanie, how is Toby doing? did you get the change to test him?
How is everything going, I'm curious to know :joyful:

:bighug:

Hi, I haven't tested Tobey yet...he's doing ok. I need to get started on testing him today but I'm a little scared and I'm overwhelemed about having to keep testing him everyday twice a day...

Don't feel overwhelemed Stephanie, you are doing great. Believe me we were all overwhelemed when we first started this sugar dance but it's easy peazy after you get the hang off it.
How is the insulin going? are you already giving him Prozinc?

Stephanie, believe me we were all scared when we started home testing. After you get the hang of it, you'll wonder what you were scared of! Just take a deep breath, and think how, by a simple prick of the ear or paw you are keeping Tobey safe. Remember we test to help our kitties get well safely. You'll be surprised at how quickly most cats get the routine of a treat after the test and actually start asking to be tested. Like Ruby said, it's easy peazy!

Thankso y'all. I actually haven't even started insulin. Yes it's prozinc. Goal tonight is test then shoot and record it all. Going thru a lot of things right now so I will make it my priority to keep Tobey feeling good and healthy. Hope to let y'all know the results. Thanks for checking back I know I've been quiet lately.

Ok y'all are the best!!! Plan is to stop delaying tonight because it's driving me crazy to wait. First attempted to test him about 9 days ago. Didn't get enough blood and it soaked into his ear fur. Felt bad so I left him alone. Just dabbed some neosporin with pain releiver on it afterwards. 2nd time it tried same thing so I gave up. I'm using the 30 gauge lancets. I tried to run and use the sick rice method to warm his ear before I poked him. Saw plenty of blood but got error. I think I messed up my test strip. My thing is I'm afraid to hurt him everyday. Also I know how hungry he will be when I get home from work in a couple hours. He's a very easy going gentle boy. So testing should be easy! I'm nervous to say the least. I'm about to start him on Young again food. Excited about that.
