Merrick B4 Grain Question

Has anyone else noticed the inconsistencey with the Merrick B4 Grain food? I feed Frodo the Turkey and it seems like the last 3 batchs I have bought have been different. This latest batch is darker and drier, the batch before it was a lot lighter and the texture was grainier. Frodo is not as fond of this latest batch, not really eating it like he had.

I realize batches can come out a little different but seems to me there is a lot of difference in this food, which only costs me more money because he doesn't like how the newest batch is so end up throwing a bunch out due to him not eating it.

That happens in all brands. Its because they can use the "no less than, no more than" in describing the ingredients, so they can adjust the mix based on what is available ... and how much it costs them.

Yet another reason to consider making one's own, raw or cooked.

Hi,
I have noticed the difference especially lately...lighter color to it, and slightly different texture. I hope they're not messing with their formula, it has been one of the few foods besides Wellness that Sya can eat comfortably.
