I guess my hypothesis about increasing his calories was completely wrong. I'm going back to sleep for 30 minutes. Let's hope we see an increase when I wake up. Something tells me that I won't...

I always check diligently for fur shots, so I'm fairly confident that he got the dose. Otherwise, I think he would have been in the 400s.

So weird.

I hope he goes up again from 203 so I can give him his full 2 units tonight.

PMPS up to 227. I think that last reading was on the low end of the 20% variance. Shot and fed. Second supper will be in an hour or so. Fun times!

Top 40, indeed!

You know, despite the flat numbers and the average BG in the 250s, Melville has quickly recovered muscle mass that he lost last week. His spine is already less bumpy. Even yesterday morning, he seemed boney. Tonight, there's a noticeable difference. I don't know, maybe I'm crazy. Is it possible for a cat to recover muscle mass so quickly? Or perhaps it's just fat cells in the subcutaneous tissue. Either way, he's gaining weight, which I'm happy about. I hope he's able to stabilize for a bit, although it would be nice to average around 200. We shall see!

Progress is pretty darn good, in my book! Way to go!

And, yes, they can put weight back on quickly. Poopy gained 1 lb, 3 oz. in 9 days. That's 19 oz...2 oz a day average!

Every improvement is worth noting. Regardless of the music they are listening to. ;-)
