Shhh now all of mine will want their own too. Exactly they have several although I use them mostly in their carriers.

Btw I do knit and crochet...just faster crocheting. But can follow a pattern for either lol. There are actually very few crafts I can't do if give a pattern or picture to work from.

This summer I'll have to post updates as we work on the house as I'm planning on making all the decor with the exception of the actual base furniture. Everything from curtains to rugs. Lol
Kept trying to tell Jon he shouldn't let me watch things like This Old House and Home Makeover because I actually start believing I can do that stuff. Roflmao.

Scary part is I usually can!! Unfortunately I also have Champagne taste on a beer budget. ohmygod_smile But the basic plan this summer is to start assigning each room it's own "theme" and color palette. Example: I love leopard print..okay leopards in general. And most of the cats are tan, black, white and grey. Ironically so is leopard print lol. So I want to do our livingroom in black and goldish tan with leopard print accents.

Well project Number 1 that I should have the materials here this weekend to start are a crocheted 2 jute rug for the front foyer and backdoor landing. Plus now that I can open windows again I'll be finishing the kitchen that I started last fall before the weather went arctic lol. Since the house was built in 1907 and is a Victorian Cottage style. I'm trying to stay fairly Victorian/Americana. The kitchen is sunflower yellow gold/white/light sage green. Right now I have the walls painted yellow and wainscot painted white as well as most of the trim painted white.

When done I will have laid a new tile floor that looks like wood. Ceramic tiled the counter tops (white), glass tiled the back splash (combo sage green, amber and brown), sewn two sets of curtains. Painted the cupboards sage green and replaced all the hardware. Crocheted several rag throw rugs and still trying to talk Jon into building an island with a range top, sink and oven on one side and an eat at bar on the other. If not then I have to find a small bistro table and chairs set.

Wow! Sounds lovely. I love the idea of all that white trim with the yellow and sage.

My former homeowner replaced all the carpeting upstairs with vinyl flooring that looks like wood. I didn't even notice it wasn't wood until the walk-through. It is perfect for cat mess cleaning. I could hug her.
