He is 8 years old and diagnosed yesterday with Feline Diabetes - his glucose is over 400 and I need to get some insulin for him. The vet also advised that I switch his food to the purina dm but from what I see here, it looks like Fancy Feast Classic and Friskie Pate are very good choices instead. I'm up for any advise on the best way to get insulin at a reasonable cost, food opinions, etc. thank you!
 
Welcome to the group and sorry to hear that Toby has been diagnosed with diabetes.

The proper food is very important for a diabetic cat and can make a big difference in the treatment process. There are lots of experienced helpful people on this forum. If you have questions about insulin and food or anything else please feel free to post on the main Health forum. It gets a lot of traffic there and you should be able to get a lot of responses. :)
