I just adopted he today from the local shelter. I know the kennel manager and previously her that I would be interested in a diabetic cat if you received one is relatively good condition. I have know history, Did not come with any vet records, insulin or syringes. When I got home I measured his BG it was 429.
He did not eat much so I only gave 1/2 unit Lantus.He is very comfortable and outgoing even now. This is unlike Cookie or MurrFee when they first arrived.
He is seven years old.

ohmygod_smile There is a special place in heaven for a person like you. I love what you have done and Dulce has a fantastic dad that will give him the life he so deserves. Congratulations on adding a new, sweet heart to your home! WELCOME DULCE!!!!!
 
Dulce is fitting in very very well. He and my others like treats.


Out of view are also MurFee, Moxies and Cookie. Only Patches was not present

Larry, you are surely an earth angel if ever there was one! How wonderful for these two kitties to find a home with you. What a great big heart you have after recently losing two. Bless you!
