I'm not quite sure what it looks like when a baby kitty is"meatloafing". Does anyone have or can direct me to a picture of a cat sitting like that?? Would appreciate it.
Thanks Jan

(No, not my cat. Just a pic I Googled  )

Meatloafing can be a sign of contentment or a sign that the cat may be in discomfort.

That's kinda strange, I have at least 2 that lay like the blk/white kitty alot. But I don't see any kind of stress/discomfort. Can they just like to lay like that?? My Rosie lays like that most of the time??? I guess I will pay closer attention to see if she/they look like there in pain.
Thanks
Jan

The difference is the B&W kitty is laying mostly flat on the floor.

The second picture, the kitty is holding his tummy up off the floor with his front
elbows. Abdominal pain from pancreatitis.

First kitty has relaxed facial expression. Second kitty has pinched up face and furrowed
eyebrows.
