Meatloafing - I've seen healthy cats do very often

Just a general question. I have read often on here about 'meatloafing', when cats fold all their paws underneath them and lay like that.
Every cat I have seen does this. My strays outside would do it lying in the sun. And all three of my own cats have done this, pretty regularly.
Why is there concern if a cat does this? So many cats do this as part of the daily routine. I always thought it was a snuggle type of thing they do to themselves, like if someone curls up hand under pillow or tucks feet under in bed to sleep.

Meatloafing is more when they lay in the Sphinx pose holding their stomachs off the ground, some will even slightly arch their backs to keep their stomachs tight and off the ground. Many times that is a sign of pain.

Can't really describe the difference other than you'll know the difference when you see it. One looks like you described a comfy sleeping pose the other shows discomfort.
