Oh Dottie, that is all good news! Thank you for the update. I've been worrying! Purrcie is sending fuzzy hugs and we are both sending healing vines and blizzards of snowflakes! C'mon Meadow! GLOW!

If I had really posted what the vet said to me on Friday when My "Jackolini" (my wonder soul mate kitty of many names..lol)was huffing and puffing I wouldn't have been able to type. "He may not make it through the night". And I took that very seriously too from the looks of things here. I slept with one eye open for 2 nights. That's when I decided to have a long talk with Jackson and I simply told him that this was ridiculous and his time was not then. And he agreed. Living, breathing proof is watching "Sex and The City" right now :D And I had the same thing with Alex. Technology and advanced medicine are wonderful, but faith and bedside manner have gotten lost in the process (not to mention that everyone-ie docs- :roll: must tell the truth as they see it for fear of well for fear of i don't know what actually...*sigh*)

I have a very good feeling that Meadow will be fine. I am sending you both tons of love and hugs, blizzards of snowflakes, and lots and lots of

poor meadow .. didn't get a chance to see this until this morning .... I'm so glad the update is positive ... will send lots of thoughts and prayers and snowflakes your way to help meadow get back home happy and healthy!
 
So glad you got her to the ICU and it sounds like she's feeling much better, I hope today shows even more improvement. So scary!
 
I'm glad to see that Meadow is doing a little better today, Dottie. I'm still sending everything I got to help her along! I hope you got some good rest....you need to take care of yourself too!
 
((((((((Dottie)))))))) OMG, just saw this. I am glad that there has been some improvement. Me and my babies are sending white light and snowflakes. All fingers and paws crossed for a speedy recovery.

if you haven't yet learned to give them, pls make sure your vet shows you how to give meadow subQ fluids when you guys leave. fluids, pain meds (bupe for cleo), and injectable pepcid can help soothe an irritated pancreas the next time she seems to be starting a pancreatitis flareup and hopefully will prevent such a severe attack from occurring again.

if you can, wear a t-shirt for a few hours to get your smell on it and bring it to meadow to sleep with. it is comforting to have your smell there with you. otherwise you could put a clean sock in your bra for a while to get your smell for her.

very glad she's feeling better, and very very glad you got her to the ER. (((HUGS)))
