Martha on vacation?

Would appreciate your prayers and good thoughts for Martha the next few days. I have to go out of state, tried all I could to get out of it (as I have everything else) to stay home with the kitties. Anyway, with Martha being a new diabetic--on top of HCM, CRF, and IBD---knew she would need more care than she would get staying at home. She requires two blood tests and insulin shots each day.
The vet tech volunteered to let Martha stay at her house, what a blessing! But no matter that this is the very best I could do, Martha will be stressed out and depressed. Morelli will be staying at home with the men. (BTW, sure hoping that Martha will miss Morelli so much, she'll give him a great big hug when she comes home! He's tired of the terrorism.)

Poor Martha! Hopefully she does well. Mine recently did her first stay-over at grandma's house and did very well. i hope Martha does just fine.

You know to send some clothing you have worn and add her fav foods.
 
Martha has started vomiting big time. I HATE this!
She has also been very upset ever since she saw my suitcase on the bed. She knows what that means.
Except this time she is going, too.
 
Martha did very well. Her care was superb. At one point the vet tech who was keeping Martha in her home texted me and said, she had prepared Martha's treats for when she got the "munchies." Now is that spoiling or not! I am so thankful for the care she got. She kept excellent records of glucose testing and insulin injections. Just letting everyone know.
