Hi. We've been ticking along ok. Life has been crazy. I just. noticed a fault in his bottle so the dial didnt go down as the bottle was emptying so it looked pretty full when actually it was empty. I think ive been giving him air for a few days

Basically, I think I have not given Marley any insulin for days. There is a fault in the bottle that has meant the guide line didn't go down, so it looked like there was plenty in there when there was none.

The last dose he was doing well on which was on the 6th of September ws 2.25. Its possible since then he hasnt had any insulin. I had raised it to 2.25f but its possible there was no insulin for that dose.

What would be the best dose for him today?

I was thinking 2.25

Is it safe to go back to that

He hasnt seemed himself for a few days (unsurprisingly) and seems to be having real problems with his teeth, like he has something stuck in them. Which he often does have and one attempt and he has sorted it but at the moment its a constant that it is bugging him

Sorry, I'm only just seeing this. What dose did you give? You could go back to 2.25U since that was the last dose where he seemed to have got insulin and you got a 57 on that dose. You want to monitor closely over the next few days.

If he is having dental issues, that could also affect his blood sugar. Many cats fall out of remission due to dental issues.
