After Sammy's PMBG at 92, I slept like a log, I was so relieved to see her holding the line. I woke up at PM+ 10.5 to a horrendous cat fight, they would not behave, despite my husband telling them they had better not wake Mommy or there would be trouble! (he is so cute). Anyway, they were both starving, and since I am not giving insulin I saw no reason to stall to shot time. They ate like piggies. For reporting on the board purposes, I am going to use her reading at that time as her AMBG, even though it was early.

Last insulin given was 48 hours ago

Ah ha..Cat fight that's why she's in the 120s ;-) Stress. Go get a nap mom.

Go Sammy Go!! Two days down...12 to go. And if you figure in meter variance she's probably still at the high end of normal. :-D

Mel, you are SO RIGHT! I never even thought about the stress response. I just tested her 2 hours after a huge breakfast, and while she was snoozing by the window, and she was 88 ! again, so happy.

Today is the United Nations International Day of Happiness. I concur, wholeheartedly.
