Mandy is a 10 year old long haired seal point cat that has been boarding at the animal hospital I work at. Mandy's owners were insistent that she not be given insulin and she was going downhill fast. Today (8/30) Mandy's owners have surrendered her to be rehomed. She has been given her first dose of insulin and is responding well. Now she needs a new home. Is there anyone willing to take on Miss Mandy? Mandy lives in Southern Pines, NC. Please let me know if you can help!

She does look really sad. I wish I lived closer, I could squeeze one more in at a push even temporarily. Poor Miss Mandy give her some snuggles from me.

Aww, poor thing! I can't understand how people can be that way with pets. They are forever, not til they are no longer convenient! I hope she finds a home soon. She needs extra lovings with what she has gone through.

Aww, poor sweetheart! I wish I could take her. That's just heartbreaking. Why in the world would her owners not let her start insulin?????? Some people just should never have pets!

Oh no, what a shame. That poor kitty, that just breaks my heart. :(:(:( Pity her owners can't be charged for causing her death by withholding needed meds!
Fly free, sweet Mandy, land softly at the Bridge cat_wings>o
