GA Mala has left

Hroswitha

Member Since 2011
Although we had a plan of action for her treatment, her liver functions were simply not consistent with continued life. She passed in my arms, in the posture she has taken every night for years. I held her as she breathed her last.

She has now joined her friends in our small and sad burial area in the wooded ravine behind my house. She'll rest with Gary - her lifelong husband - Emmeline Pankhurst, and Mala's sister Erzuli.

I will never have another cat like her. Sweet and sour, demanding, irritable at times, she was certain she was empress of all she surveyed and acted the part.

Sleep sweet my darling girl.

Sugar cats are special. Please accept my sincere condolences. And you are special too to have taken such good care of her. Look after yourself in the coming days. :bighug:

(((Renee and David))) I am so so sorry it was Mala's time to earn her angel wings. :bighug::bighug::bighug: From your descriptions, she was quite the character, and she knew it. Her long life was a testament to your loving care.
Fly free sweet Mala, land softly. Give you beans a message from the other side. cat_wings>o

cat_wings>oOnce animals place their paws on our hearts they leave their prints forever and when they go part of us goes with them and we are forever changed. In the coming hours, days, weeks, and months, may the joy she brought you become greater than the pain of losing her. :bighug:
