I am taking the plunge! Two of my cats love raw food, Glen is one of them!
Since Glen had his teeth removed I haven't given him any of the commercial raw because he doesn't really have that many teeth and the bone pieces are too big.
So I've decided to go ahead and make my own at home! I'm sort of freaked out as I've never done this before. I'm afraid I'm gonna give them bad meat or something like that! I at least figure with the TC feline that I can give him everything he needs without having the bone fragments.

Has anyone had any issues making their own raw food at home for their cats? I just don't want to screw this up! The funny thing is is that I have ordered two samples of TC feline in the past and never use them LOL and then they end up expiring. The nice thing is that TC feline is made on the same island I live on so shipping is really fast for me!

Thanks for any tips or suggestions!

No issues here. I used to make Neko her home made raw using the TC Feline Special for kidney kitties. I use distilled water, an organic egg yolk, and organic, hormone free ground meat. Just mix all together and freeze in individual containers. A kitchen scale is really helpful for the amounts. I did about 125 grams per day per cat. I know someone else who uses a vacuum sealer to store the portions. Kitties loves the smell on food making day! Good luck.

Thanks Wendy! Did you grind the meat yourself or buy ground? I won't be using organic meat either :woot:
