Finally got a hold of the vet! Happy dance after looking over my spread shot for Magellan his advise is to go to 1 unit 1 a day. Seems funky to me what I am going to do is give .5 2x a day also he is now all for me home testing he said that he was unsure of my comfort level doing this as well as my ability to do so. He is also for shifting him to lantus after the 5th. He still wants to do an in vet test and see what I am doing so this is looking a lot better for the relationship with the three of us. Advise on shifting him to lantus how to do this and what not is welcome.
