Hello everybody!
Since yesterday all day and this morning, Mačka has stayed on a steady 330-350-ish, on Lantus 1.5U.
I couldn't thank everyone enough for their advice on persisting with this dose. He is doing better, sleeps less, drinks less, starts playing on his own (for a 15yo that's cool), purrs more and comes back to sleep on our bed.
I can breathe a little.
He's being fed 4 times a day small meals (about 2 cans/day). Fancy Feast beef classic seems to be the winner, so I'll stick to it for a while.
Tomorrow we have to leave at noon for 24 hours and I'm very anxious about it, as you can imagine. A professional cat sitter will come for the evening and morning glucose monitoring, feeding and insulin shot. I have my camera set up in the living room. I hope I'll be able to sleep in my hotel room
Once we're back, should we increase to 1.75? 2 units? I should be able to monitor next week (less work) and he should have his 2nd curve done at the vet at the end of next week.
