First test at 7:30 am was 75 no shot given. She ate well and I tested her again at 9am she was 36. Administered Corn Syrup and she ate some more. (During her Hypo time she did not exhibit any clinical symptoms) Then at 10:47 I tested again and she was 304 - vet had me give her 1.5 units of Lantus at that time.

She seems to have a couple of days in the mid 300s and then she dips below 150 then back up to the mid 300 for a couple and then has a hypo day.

This sure is frustrating poor little thing

Crikey, that must have been scary. Good catch!!!
Clearly a dose reduction is needed. How much did your vet reduce the dose by? (What was her previous dose?)
If you've recently switched to a lower carb diet then that may be reason for her needing less insulin.

We have a spreadsheet here that you can record Lucky's numbers on. Any chance you could set one of those up? If you need help there are lots of techy folks here who can assist (but sadly, I'm not one of them....;) )

Did you retest that 36? From the numbers you quoted above, that one looks like a 'hokey pokey'. My meter does that sometimes. Food should have raised that 75 during that 1.5 hours rather than causing that dive and since there was no new insulin shot, flying up to 304 also makes me think the 36 was a bad reading. I learned to retest those sudden wierd numbers.

Looking forward to your getting a spreadsheet set up - afterwards you'll find it's about the best tool in your 'extra sweet' toolbox. I procrastinated about setting one up - "I don't have enough info", "I have them written in my notebook", "I can write them in my condo instead". THEN I bit the bullet and did it. The ssheet template that we all use here has conditional formatting that automatically colors cells according to the number inserted. Suddenly I see patterns that just can't be seen on paper. I could quickly spot things that were out of the ordinary. Now when I can't see my ssheet for some reason, I feel a great big hole in my brain! :)

HUGS!!

Just need to get the spreadsheet in your signature line now!

Wondering if 30 cc of syrup was too high during the hypo. Thoughts?

It well could have been - I'll admit I panicked. She read 42 when my vet was out once and that was what we gave her - then was told no insulin for the day. She came back and tested her in the evening (this is before I started testing) and got a 92. I think that I need to have a conversation with her about this whip saw effect I'm seeing in Lucky.

I will be seeing her this evening for test strips and to discuss the fasted pancreatic test that we did last week.
