LT has barely made his way into the lagoon this a.m. I nervously wait for the beep of his meter every PS to see if he's staying down in the lower numbers. After doing somewhat of a curve yesterday, I'm just going to test his nadir and other PS today and if I can get up in the night, I'll try to get a PM +6. When should I do his next curve?

It's another beautiful day in Colorado's SLV. The aspen are getting ready to turn which is later than usual; I suppose due to a warmer than usual fall.

Blessings to all kitties and their hoomans.

LT is looking pretty wonderful. I don't know about 'curves' per se... I test if Luci is down...slow the testing down when she's trending up.

Perhaps it would work to do that - when you get a lower number like last night - an 86 - I'd set that miserable alarm and check on him again in an hour - to see which direction he's headed. The numbers going down each time are an indicator to test again...until he starts to creep back up...which usually happens near the end of the cycle - up / down /up = cycle...

Love it ,Sue:joyful: " that miserable alarm "... Right there with ya !!!

Shot 1 drop at a 90:nailbiting:. He has been dropping about 20 lately by +2. So, I'm thinking next check at +2 or should I do it at +1?

Just test again in 20 minutes!

It doesn't do any good to test too much sooner than that because it takes some time to get the glucose broken down from the food and into the bloodstream.

Yep....no more food now that he's up on his surfboard

Hey LT....Hang 10 baby!!

does this mean LT can start his OTJ Trial?

No.....while he's really looking great, there are still a few too many blues for me to recommend an OTJ trial but he's very very close I think!

@Suzanne Burton ….has anybody ever told you about an even smaller dose I'll call "needle juice"?

It's where you push the plunger in hard and hold it, insert into the insulin and just "let go"....there's enough of a vacuum to pull a teeny tiny bit into the needle.

You might have your husband play with that....use some plain water if you want and then after he's got the "needle juice", squirt it onto a paper towel or something to see that there really is something in there.

+5.25 = 104; LT is on the beach and I'm off to bed. Thanks once again, Chris for your guidance :bighug:.

OMG! LT! Are you trying to get off that juice? I'll bet your mama hopes it's sooner than later - come on and stay on that surfboard with your little teeny tiny bit of 'needle juice' so you can get off the juice.

You and Luci can stop playing around and you can just surf off - perhaps you can show her how it's supposed to be done :) Suzanne, he's certainly intent isn't he? So proud of you both! Hope you can get a nap or three today - I'll bet you're exhausted! :bighug::bighug:
