You can try contacting DCIN (Diabetic Cats In Need) the have a financial assistant program to help with the cost of testing supplies and insulin for diabetic cats.

I buy Lantus Pens, one at a time, from a local pharmacy. I use the "Lantus Solostar Savings Card" and the pens cost just $25 each. Many pharmacies do not honor the savings card and most pharmacies will not break up the set of pens (they come in a 5 pack), but if you call around, you may get lucky. http://www.lantus.com/sign-up/offers.aspx
