I just purchased Fancy Feast Medleys/White Meat Chicken Florentine with Spinach in light broth,
What category of carbs do these have????

Hi Maria. I'm just checking in and looking at Corky's spreadsheet. I see that the last few days have been really good and you have bravely been shooting the 1.25 unit dose. He's had a couple of green numbers, which I am actually happy to see on his spreadsheet.

thanks. just want to mention something about Coco my other girl cat, She has not been pooping, she's been eating well playful, I followed the Vets suggestion, to give her Mineral Oil it worked yesterday for the first time, but since she's been eating all this fish food, not the dry food, because I put them both on the same schedule and food, it's been difficult for her to poop this is my second litter box in 2 weeks I ordered a jumbo box from Chewy and got a large they beardly fit in them so I thought it was that, yesterday I went a got an amazing jumbo with cover, Corky and Coco goes in it but she won't poop, Corky is fine with it before the mineral oil I was using Pumpkin puree then the Miralax, would you have another trick down your sleeve you can help me with I also put water in their food, since I know with this soft low carb food three's not much waste and it contains water, and yes, I am happy for Corky, there are still yellow numbers here and there, but around 10PM is when it gets tricky the insulin really kicks in, and it mortifies me

If we are talking about the Fancy Feast White Meat Chicken Florentine, the food chart says that one is 4 percent carbs so that’s low carb. But I just want to make sure what food we are talking about here because there seems to be confusion (well, at least I am confused now!). Here’s a screenshot of the food chart:

I thought that the mineral oil had been helping Coco to poop?

I would like ask how much Miralax you have been using. How much and how often (once per day? Twice per day?)

Same with the pumpkin? How much and how often? Also, people on this Board have reported success with Beech-Nut Stage 2 Squash baby food squash instead of pumpkin. I believe it’s butternut squash. Gerber makes one also. Some cats seem to prefer the taste. You may need to try a combination of therapies with Coco, i.e., keep adding fiber to her food in the form of pumpkin or squash or psyllium husk and also do Miralax and you may have to increase either the dosage and frequency of the Miralax (or both.) If those types of things don’t get Coco having BMs on a regular basis, then your vet can prescribe Lactulose, which is added to food. It seems to be palatable because I have never had a problem with a cat eating it in food. But first try those other things and you already had some success with the mineral oil?

I sometimes have a problem with my cat pooping, so this is good info for me too. Thanks!

thanks for the chart, I noted the foods to buy, and return the light broth, and no, neither the pumpkin nor the Miralax worked for a bit maybe I didn't use it every day only when I didn't see poo in 2 days I would put 1/4 tsp of that the pumpkin 1 tsp in every meal, it's been 3 days and Coco has not pooped yet, she ate all her food this , I am really concerned about this I am going to wait till 12:00PM today if I don't see anything in the litter I will have take her to the Vet for that Lactulose, they won't give me a prescription over the phone, I have to go to my primary Dr. tomorrow I'll see if she can write the prescription if it is for humans as well I have to look that up. Thank you for the chart:bighug::cat::cat:

In light broth is not the pate Florentine. It’s similar to grilled and comes in a light gravy but it’s still higher carb

Well I hope that is not what he is eating!
No not at all! As soon as I found out how hi the carbs were I stopped actually only 1 can was consumed. Thank you
And now what does he eat, which flavor(s)? Are they the classic pates? Those classic pates are a safe low carb bet.

He's only been eating the FF classic Pates, chicken /Ocean whitefish & tuna/Salmon & Shrimp feast, that's all they eat and have eaten, I bought the other one not knowing it was HC so I returned the, they also love the Flaked Seafood
