Coco's Mum
Member Since 2020
Hi there,
Hopefully I've done the spreadsheet in my signature correct and it's accessible. Coco's numbers have been for the most part consistently low in the evenings and I've not been giving her a shot but I'm wondering if I should be starting a tight regulation or have I been right not to shoot. I have also reduced her dose from 2 units to 1 over the last while, but she has just been getting it most days in the morning only.
Her curve was done in Feb and when I asked my vet about it (it was really a flat line, not a curve and she used to have very pronounced curves with a high start and end number in the 20's) she simply said that it's because I'm not feeding the DM wet (we're using FF pates). Sigh. I also asked to about her low numbers in the evening and if I should be giving her a shot and she said yes, give her the full 2 units (sigh again).
I'd love to get some input from others to see if I'm on track with what I'm doing or if I should be doing something else (shoot low to stay low?).
Thanks!!
